The Pokémon type chart

Rows attack, columns defend. 2× is super effective,½× is resisted, 0× does nothing. In PokéSurvivor this decides rift fights: a super-effective build can cut a legendary battle to a quarter of the time.

Reading it in-game

Your move’s type decides damage; your Pokémon’s own types decide what comes back at you. A Fire attack melts a Grass-type horde, but your Fire starter still takes extra damage from Water enemies. Check both sides before a rift.

Dual types multiply

A Grass/Poison enemy hit by Fire takes 2× × ½× = 1×. Two weaknesses stack the same way — that’s why pure single-type nukes are so reliable against mixed hordes.
